The Ashlyn Monitor 14 Series tub and shower trim kit uses a pressure balance valve to maintain a balanced mix of hot and cold water, preventing accidental scalding during changes in water pressure. The single lever handle controls the temperature only with a maximum handle rotation of 120 degrees. The kit comes with a 5-1/4" square raincan shower head with Touch-Clean spray holes that delivers 2.0 gallons per minute, a shower arm, a 7-15/16" pull-up diverter spout, and a single-function pressure balanced mixing valve trim with a 6" wide x 6" high escutcheon. Does not include rough-in valve which is sold separately.
